Kyiv metropolis imposes curfew from Saturday night till Monday morning

KYIV, Feb 26 (Reuters) – Kyiv metropolis mayor has imposed a curfew that may final from Saturday night till Monday morning with out breaks, the mayor’s workplace stated, clarifying an earlier announcement.

Kyiv stated earlier that the curfew would final from 5 p.m. till 8 a.m. day by day. learn extra

“For simpler defence of the capital and safety of its residents the curfew will run from 1700 at this time, February 26, 2022, till the morning February 28,” it stated in an announcement.

It stated that strict guidelines have been wanted to wash the town, which is being beneath shelling and gunfire, from “the enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance teams”.
